Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Prior experience delivering speech services to pediatric populations, especially in school settings
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Familiarity with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to connect with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to manage caseload independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary educational team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges for students from diverse backgrounds
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with student IEPs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress tracking and compliance reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support holistic student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
  • Consult on speech and language resources, offering workshops or in-service presentations as needed
