Preferred Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Prior experience delivering speech services to pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Familiarity with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to connect with students, educators, and families
- Ability to manage caseload independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary educational team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges for students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with student IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress tracking and compliance reports
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support holistic student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
- Consult on speech and language resources, offering workshops or in-service presentations as needed
