Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current and valid SLP licensure (or eligibility) in Illinois
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students ages PreK-12 with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Administer assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language deficits and determine eligibility for services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Offer consultation and support to classroom teachers for strategies that promote student success
- Communicate goals and progress to families and participate in relevant meetings as required
