Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in the state
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially within school environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to design and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable therapy goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families relating to communication disorders
