Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current SLP licensure in Illinois (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFs considered
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially in educational or school settings
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and maintain accurate records
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support speech and language development
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs as required
