Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Gonzales, Louisiana

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs are welcome to apply
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric clients highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, parents, and other service providers
- Comfortable conducting both group and individual therapy sessions
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary and secondary school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver therapy sessions in accordance with students’ IEP goals, tracking progress and documenting interventions
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, participating in IEP meetings and providing insight for student growth
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student achievement
- Consult on classroom strategies and modifications to help students succeed in their everyday learning environment
