- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Louisiana
- Previous experience working in pediatric or school-based settings (preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
Your role will involve:
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and providing individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing intervention plans based on student-specific goals
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to support students’ success
- Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the team approach for student support
- Staying current with best practices and continuing education as required
