Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Lisle, Illinois

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Illinois state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
- Strong understanding of IEP process and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary, middle, or high school students
- Implement evidence-based interventions addressing articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic communication
- Document evaluations, session notes, and required progress reports in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and related school-based support activities
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administration to monitor progress and address goals
- Provide training and resources to staff and caregivers as appropriate
