Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active state licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows also considered.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in an educational setting.
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative work style.
- Comfortable conducting assessments, developing individualized plans, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students.
- Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and determine therapy needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to maximize students’ educational progress.
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation per school and district requirements.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, contributing your expertise to team decisions.
