Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure and relevant certifications
- Previous experience with school-based therapy or working with elementary-aged children is highly valued
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and individualized program implementation
- Excellent communication abilities for interacting with students, families, and staff
- Adept at fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for diverse learners
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services within an elementary school context
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills using evidence-based assessment tools
- Design and manage individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to data-driven decisions
- Employ creative strategies and interventions to engage young learners
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families to support students’ speech-language goals
Position Details:
- Contract position beginning October 14, 2026, and concluding May 26, 2027
- One SLP opening; 37.5 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:20am–3:50pm
- Serve elementary students in an inclusive and encouraging environment
