Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Norman, Oklahoma

This contract-based opportunity is designed for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about guiding children toward greater academic and social success. You'll work directly with students to assess needs, develop interventions, and collaborate closely with educators and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship candidates considered
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Strong skills in assessment, developing treatment plans, and progress monitoring
- Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload and adapting materials for various student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary and secondary students
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans targeting articulation, fluency, language, or social pragmatics
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
- Provide direct and consultative services to students inside and outside the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and prepare required documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Offer family education and collaborate with teachers to support carryover of communication skills
- Adapt therapeutic methods to the unique cultural and developmental backgrounds of each student
