Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oklahoma
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with school-age children in an educational or pediatric setting
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups, for students with varying degrees of speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes on each student’s development
- Participate in parent meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development opportunities within the school environment
