Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- State licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and implementing therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy sessions for students with speech and language needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date therapy notes and progress reports as required by the district
- Provide resources and support for families and educators to facilitate student progress and generalization of skills
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise throughout the process
- Foster a motivating, compassionate environment that encourages student engagement and growth
