Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school or similar environments
- Strong understanding of IEPs, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with communication disorders
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and IEP development
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of student progress and services delivered
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
