Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for PreK-12 students
- Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to design and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Conduct direct therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and parent conferences as needed
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and families
