Embrace professional development as you evaluate, treat, and support roughly 35 students individually, with more anticipated as Early Intervention services grow. You'll collaborate closely with staff for IEP meetings and gain valuable exposure to innovative practices, particularly if you bring experience with augmentative communication devices. This assignment, covering a MAT LOA until at least November (with the possibility for extension), will expand your clinical skills and strengthen your resume.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification is required for interview consideration
- Experience in school environments, ideally with both individual and Early Intervention students
- Proficiency or enthusiasm for working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of 35+ students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Support ongoing Early Intervention intake and evaluation
