School Speech Language Pathologist - Jersey City, New Jersey

The role spans through a maternity leave (anticipated until November, with the possibility of extension), making this an ideal position for someone seeking a temporary yet highly rewarding experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active certification and licensure as required by the state of New Jersey
- Recent school-based SLP experience preferred
- Proficiency with augmentative communication devices strongly desired
- Strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language services to a growing caseload
- Conduct assessments and draft effective IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Implement and support use of AAC devices where appropriate
