Skilled speech-language pathologists are needed for three full-time roles to cover maternity leave starting in September for 12 weeks. These onsite positions offer over 35 hours per week at vibrant schools serving diverse populations, including children with autism and preschool-aged students.
What You Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current New Jersey SLP License & valid NJ SLS Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) may apply with external supervision secured (district supervision not included)
- School-based SLP experience strongly desired
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders
- Commitment to working exclusively onsite; remote/SLPA placement not available
What You'll Do:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students (preschool through 5th grade)
- Caseloads with a high concentration of students on the autism spectrum and preschool-aged learners
- Perform evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with teachers, families, and student support teams
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress monitoring throughout the assignment
- Contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary educational environment
