Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - New Brunswick, New Jersey

This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language therapy to school-aged children, helping them overcome barriers and reach their academic and personal goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Recent experience working in pediatrics or school-based environments
- Solid understanding of IEPs, assessments, and individualized therapy planning
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and interpret evaluation results
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services to pre-K through high-school students, both one-on-one and in group settings
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports as required
- Participate in IEP meetings, consult with educators and parents, and guide them on supporting student goals
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
