Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Newark, New Jersey

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as an SLP
- Experience providing therapy and assessments for pediatric and school-aged populations
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfort with a dynamic school setting and a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to deliver comprehensive support
- Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultative services and training as needed to staff and families
- Adapt therapy techniques to best serve each student’s unique needs within the school environment
