Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) for the state of New Jersey
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates may also be considered
- Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary and/or middle school students
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in accordance with students’ needs
- Collaborate regularly with educators, parents, and support teams to communicate progress and adjust interventions
- Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insight into students’ language and communication needs
