Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in schools
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in compliance with students' IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to district standards
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to develop effective interventions
