Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Tulare, CA

Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field required
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License
- Previous experience in both educational and healthcare settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and ability to provide services in accordance with guidelines
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Experience assessing and supporting children ages PreK through 5th grade
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs and progress
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver SLPA services per IEPs, maintaining careful documentation
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other team members
- Communicate with families and staff regarding student goals and achievements
