Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathology Assistant | Porterville, California

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a closely related field
- Active SLPA license required
- Experience in both healthcare and educational settings as an SLPA is highly valued
- Competent in conducting assessments and implementing treatment plans for PreK–5th grade students
- Familiarity with IEP-driven service delivery
- Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexible start times based on site (between 7:30 - 7:45am), 8-hour workdays
- Willingness and capacity to manage an average caseload of 50 students
- In-person service delivery; teletherapy is not available for this role
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Deliver high-quality SLPA services, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed
- Maintain clear, compliant documentation and collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
- Support students in reaching their academic and communication goals
