Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathology Assistant | Hanford, California
Take your skills as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to the next level in a dynamic school-based setting, working with an engaging population of pre-K through 5th-grade students. This contract opportunity spans from August 6, 2025, through June 5, 2026, offering a stable full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The daily start time varies by site between 7:30 and 7:45, with an 8-hour workday. You’ll provide support to a caseload averaging 50 students.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field, along with an active SLPA license. Previous experience in both school and healthcare settings is highly valued, and you’ll be comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ communication needs.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans
- Deliver SLPA services as outlined in IEPs
- Document student progress and collaborate with staff and families
- Maintain compliance with all guidelines and deadlines
