Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but clinical fellows welcome
- Previous experience in school-based settings especially with middle school students is advantageous
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage a middle school caseload across a 35-hour weekly schedule
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
