Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Comfort working with a diverse range of middle school students, including developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the individual needs of students
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students on your caseload
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain accurate written records
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Track student progress, document interventions, and adjust therapy plans as needed
