Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Arlington Heights, Illinois

This full-time, onsite position focuses on collaborating with high school students, covering a leave of absence from August 10th through September 22nd. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) consideration
- Experience working with high school students in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable delivering direct therapy, conducting assessments, and managing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently within collaborative settings
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to high school students in accordance with IEP goals
- Evaluate, assess, and document students’ speech and language abilities and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student achievement and participation
- Maintain thorough and timely records and documentation
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to student support planning
