Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (for SLPs)
- Active SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credential in good standing
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
- Experience with teletherapy platforms is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and goal tracking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations
- Commitment to collaboration and inclusion in multidisciplinary educational teams
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans within a school setting
- Provide direct and virtual therapy sessions to students across various age groups
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
- Monitor student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation and case notes
- Offer support, training, and resources to school staff and families
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for student growth
