Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (for SLPs)
  • Active SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credential in good standing
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience with teletherapy platforms is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and goal tracking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations
  • Commitment to collaboration and inclusion in multidisciplinary educational teams
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans within a school setting
  • Provide direct and virtual therapy sessions to students across various age groups
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
  • Monitor student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation and case notes
  • Offer support, training, and resources to school staff and families
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for student growth
