Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fully certified and licensed as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Previous experience supporting school-aged children is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in working with students who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
  • Reliable transportation for itinerant travel within the district
  • Organized, self-motivated, and flexible in adapting to multiple school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Implement and support use of AAC devices for students, ensuring they receive effective communication support
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families across various campuses
  • Accurately document session notes and student progress, communicating regularly with your supervising SLP
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning, goal-setting, and progress review discussions
