Certified Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Lancaster, CA

In this role, you’ll work 30 to 35 hours each week alongside a dedicated supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. With a focus on supporting students using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, your expertise will play a vital part in each student’s success. You will be reimbursed for weekly travel, typically ranging from 40 to 50 miles.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA certification and state license required
- Previous experience with AAC devices preferred
- Strong commitment to serving school-aged children
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and adapt to multiple school environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to designated students under supervision, following treatment plans
- Support teachers, staff, and families in understanding and utilizing AAC devices
- Maintain accurate session notes, data, and progress documentation
- Travel between sites within the district and manage your weekly schedule efficiently
- Participate in regular meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions
