Licensed Certified School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Lancaster, California

This role is itinerant, so you’ll engage with a diverse group of students across multiple campuses, primarily focusing on those who benefit from the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Your expertise will help foster meaningful communication skills in students, empowering them in their academic and social journeys.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLPA certification and licensure required
- Experience or familiarity with AAC devices is highly desired
- Previous work in school settings preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Reliable transportation (with approximately 40-50 miles of weekly travel reimbursed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with their communication goals under the guidance of licensed supervision
- Deliver speech-language interventions as assigned
- Assist with AAC device implementation, programming, and training for students and staff
- Collaborate with educators and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress regularly
