Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license, or a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with relevant school-based experience
- Previous work in school environments is highly desired
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Current knowledge of therapy techniques and individualized education plan (IEP) processes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a certified SLP (for SLPA applicants)
- Support individualized education programs, helping students reach their communication and learning milestones
- Administer therapy activities in one-on-one and small group sessions, both in and out of the classroom
- Assist with progress data collection and update documentation to support IEP goals
- Communicate student progress to SLP supervisor, teachers, and families to foster student growth
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute insights to aid student development
