Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide therapy support services within an elementary school setting. This is a leave coverage opportunity working with students in grades K-5 and supporting speech-language services under the guidance of the speech-language pathology team.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy support to students as directed
- Assist with implementing treatment plans and therapy activities
- Support student communication goals in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and therapy records
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students
Qualifications
- Active SLPA license/certification as required by state regulations
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
