Ideal candidates will bring:
- Current licensure as an SLPA, or credentials as an SLP or experienced SLPA
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong collaboration abilities with SLPs, educators, and other school staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families
- Adaptability and motivation to work within a dynamic educational team
- Up-to-date documentation and ability to begin March through EOSY
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Supporting students’ individual education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with screenings and assessments as directed by the supervising SLP
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive learning environment
- Engaging with staff and families to encourage students’ communication growth
