Professionally, you’ll lead in a therapeutic day school environment comprising a single building with small class sizes. Students range from preschool through age 22, primarily diagnosed with autism, as well as emotional and intellectual disabilities. As the sole SLP onsite, you’ll exercise autonomy in shaping therapy programs and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary educational team—gaining valuable exposure to diverse approaches and evidence-based intervention methods that enhance your expertise. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP license and active PEL (Professional Educator License)
- SLP-CCC certification required

- Comfort working independently in a therapeutic setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation and therapy for students ages PreK–22 with varying needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
- Serve as the single SLP resource in the building
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state/federal guidelines
