School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Elk Grove Village, Illinois

What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA CCC’s or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid and current state licensure or ability to obtain credentials before starting
- Experience working with school-aged children, including implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to helping students achieve their goals
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech and language needs in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP mandates
- Work closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to integrate therapy into daily activities
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation on student progress, therapy activities, and compliance requirements
- Educate and engage families to foster home support for skills developed in therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEP development, and provide professional recommendations
