Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with special needs populations, including autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, and intellectual/health impairments
- Strong evaluation and reporting skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver thorough speech/language evaluations, assessments, and observations for students ages 5–21
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Prepare detailed reports and progress documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Address a diverse set of communication challenges in students with autism, emotional/behavioral needs, developmental delays, and health impairments
