The assignment runs ASAP through June 28, 2027, with full-time hours during the school year (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) and adjusted summer hours in June (7:45 AM–2:15 PM, Monday through Friday).
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligible) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Proficiency or strong interest in evaluations, assessments, observations, and report writing
- Familiarity with supporting students with special needs: autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, intellectual or other health impairments
- Compassionate, patient, and collaborative approach to therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for students across a wide age range
- Provide individualized and evidence-based therapy for students with diverse communication needs
- Prepare detailed reports and document progress in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to develop and implement effective IEPs
- Offer support, strategies, and resources to classroom teachers and parents
