Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations using standardized assessment tools
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, to students with diverse communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement strategies in the classroom and at home
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff training sessions as needed
