Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure before start
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Create engaging sessions designed to facilitate communication success and academic participation
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress reports, and IEP paperwork in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational and developmental goals
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families to reinforce communication skills outside of therapy
