Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Chicago, IL

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Proven ability to fluently speak, read, and write in Spanish and English
- Previous experience working in a school environment highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote students’ academic and social growth
- Provide culturally responsive services and support for Spanish-speaking students and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention planning
