Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Illinois SLP license and active ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Commitment to supporting positive outcomes for multicultural and multilingual students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments, interpret data, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, and families to promote student progress
- Document services and monitor goals in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student success
- Design appropriate interventions and adapt resources for bilingual learners
