Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Demonstrated fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Genuine passion for working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing each child’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to optimize student outcomes
- Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions in English and Spanish
- Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and provide recommendations for ongoing services
- Offer support and resources to families to enhance at-home communication strategies
