Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active Illinois state SLP license or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates also considered
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with experience conducting assessments and therapy in both languages
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desired
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy services for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Conduct bilingual evaluations, deliver culturally responsive therapy, and facilitate communication development in both Spanish and English
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports aligned with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting and progress monitoring
