Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to strong CFY candidates
  • Previous experience working in school settings is a plus
  • Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and develop individual treatment plans for students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and staff
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students across grade levels
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Consult with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and ongoing professional development
  • Stay current on best practices and new trends in speech-language pathology
