Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP licensure for the state (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience working in school environments preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the interdisciplinary approach for each student’s educational plan
- Maintain accurate records, data, and ongoing progress reports per compliance guidelines
- Offer support and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
