School Speech Language Pathologist - Grand Blanc, MI
Exciting opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists dedicated to supporting elementary-aged learners! We are seeking contract professionals with skills in SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLP-School to serve schools in the vibrant Grand Blanc, MI area. Openings are available for 40 hours per week, with each caseload averaging 40-50 students—allowing meaningful engagement and continuity of care. Most roles will be centered in a single school building; however, flexibility to provide services across two buildings may be considered to best meet student needs.
Whether you’re an experienced SLP, hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or are newly graduated and seeking a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), both independent and mentorship-supported placements are offered. Experienced professionals who can mentor CF candidates are encouraged to apply as well!
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or CFY status
- Previous experience with elementary student populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering student success in a supportive school environment
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary students
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state/federal requirements
- Participate in meetings and professional development as needed
