School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Monroe, Michigan

This rewarding, part-time contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists eager to provide exceptional services in a supportive environment. You’ll work three days per week, collaborating with students and school teams from February through the end of the school year.
Applicants with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are highly preferred, but talented Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will also be considered. Responsibilities include traveling to parochial schools throughout the county, conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy, and documenting progress to ensure optimal student development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility)
- CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in a school-based setting is a plus
- Strong understanding of IEP process and compliance
- Outstanding communication and organizational abilities
- Reliable transportation for travel between schools
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation of services and progress
- Travel between parochial schools within the county as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with state and federal regulations
