Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position in San Bernardino, CA. This opportunity allows clinicians to support students with diverse communication needs while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a supportive educational environment.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students improve speech, language, and communication skills to achieve academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to students
- Identify and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and speech-language goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Partner with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student achievement
Qualifications
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist License and/or applicable credentials
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of IEP development, evaluations, and special education services
