School Speech Language Pathologist - Grand Blanc, Michigan

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates also considered
- Thorough knowledge of evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning for a diverse student population
- Experience in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students across various age groups
- Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to address students’ needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Maintain accurate and timely records of services provided
- Deliver speech-language therapy sessions individually and in small groups within the school setting
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
