Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Michigan SLP license (Washington SLP license preferred for some placements)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Experience with early childhood populations and early language development
- Solid clinical skills in school-based SLP and/or teletherapy practice
- Proficiency or eagerness to learn virtual therapy technology platforms
- Reliable internet connection and workspace conducive to telepractice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments via secure virtual platforms
- Develop customized therapy plans and provide engaging teletherapy to K-12 students, focusing on early childhood caseloads
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver early intervention services tailored to individual communication needs
