Speech and Language Pathologist - West Hartford, CT

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Holds or is eligible for a Connecticut SLP license
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Schools-based SLP experience preferred, especially with preschool and elementary populations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to PK and elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in accordance with student needs
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliant records
- Engage with families about student progress and strategies for continued growth
